Pain Management, Rehabilitation and Relaxation

Massage Therapy

RMTs combine their education and clinical experience to provide evidence-based manual and movement interventions to help manage pain and increase well-being.

Pain Management

Strenuous physical activity, whether for recreational purposes or for work, can take its toll on your body.

Rehabilitation

Soft tissue massage, therapeutic movement and exercise effectively treats acute and chronic symptoms.

Relaxation Massage

Relaxation of the body and mind is one of the most important benefits of our massage therapy treatments.

Massage Therapy

Our Victoria Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) are trained in the assessment, treatment and prevention of soft tissue injuries. In order to be licensed to practice in BC, one must complete a 3,000 hour program from a provincially regulated college. Following the program, candidates must successfully complete both written and practical licensing exams. Mandatory continuing education credits must be obtained in order to remain licensed and ensure that patients benefit from the most recent research and training available.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapists use a multitude of active & passive soft tissue and joint manipulation techniques, along with movement exploration and exercise prescription as needed to most effectively treat musculoskeletal problems. These treatments and techniques allow the body to operate at its greatest potential. Any individual can benefit from Massage Therapy as it is effective at managing both acute and chronic musculoskeletal and neurological pain. Both elite and recreational athletes will benefit from improved athletic performance, injury management and improvement in recovery time.

Motor vehicle accident victims and workplace injuries that have causedheadaches, shoulder, back & neck pain can all be effectively treated by a Registered Massage Therapist.

Massage therapy is a helpful treatment at reducing pain and aiding recovery post surgery. Treatments can often be performed in just days after many procedures, and treatment is still effective on pain relief and restoration of normal range of motion in months or years, post-operation.
